SYMONE MARIE

Estelle (she/her) is a highly ambitious Executive Assistant to an Art Buyer. A college graduate & Charlotte transplant, she is an artist at heart trying to step into her womanhood and artistic autonomy, while still making her deadlines in the office. 

Symone Marie is a 23 year old actress born and raised in Columbia, SC. With passions in art and fashion she attended College of Charleston to deepen her love for the arts. Through her high school and college career she also studying acting every chance she got. Following graduation she moved to the Charlotte area and has stepped into quite a few roles since.

REGGIE CHESTON II

Kai (he/him) is an eager & driven emerging fine artist looking for his big break. An HBCU dropout with aspirations of taking the art world by storm, Kai knows that his talent is undeniable & he will do whatever it takes for the world to recognize his genius. 

Reggie Cheston, II is an enthusiastic actor with a passion for storytelling. A renaissance man driven by adding value to dynamic teams and cultivating positive work environments, he has ventured into the acting space aiming to learn a new set of skills while expanding on his creativity. Eager to pull from his diverse set of experiences to pour into his acting, Reggie is excited to be a part of the Big Brain pilot and series to come, hoping to further develop his craft as he brings Kai to life.

MALIK GIST

Chance (he/him) is the best friend of Kai & a financial analyst with a knack for a good time. The life of the party and the voice always at the center of a debate, Chance & Kai have been buddies since the sandbox & adulthood is just their latest feat. 

Malik Gist, also known as Squidlik, is a talented photographer and cinematographer from Rock Hill, South Carolina, now based in Charlotte, North Carolina. With a passion for storytelling through visuals, Malik is dedicated to capturing moments that inspire. His ultimate goal is to establish his own agency and media outlet, leaving a lasting impact.

KRISTHEL TORRE

Jamilia (she/her)  is the best friend of Estelle & an eccentric Interior Designer bringing new life to every space she enters. Her strong vision & commitment to bringing out the best, paired with her grounded approach to life gives her an electric energy that balances perfectly with her BFF.

Kristhel is an abstract visual artist and a graduate student pursuing a master’s in civil engineering, with a strong focus on sustainability and green building. Specializing in body painting for photoshoots, music videos, and live events, Kristhel blends her creative expression with the precision of math, science, and engineering. Kristhel sees herself as an ultimate creator, bringing visions to life through the synergy of imagination, technical expertise, and a commitment to a greener future.

RESHAUD AURTRELL

Cane (they/them) is not only the manager at the premium art store in the city, they are also an aspiring motivational speaker & a local advocate for the queer community. Cane knows the power of their voice & with a commitment to uplifting artists like Kai, they challenge spaces in hopes of moving us forward.

Reshaud Aurtrell is a five year Charlotte resident, and an independent music artist originally from Greenwood, SC. He has found much of his success as an entertainer on the live stage, but got his screen acting debut in 2022 with his hilarious portrayal of Trevor in the web series Hopeless Romantic.

JAZZI GOODE

Aurora (she/her) is a barista at the Mind & Brew coffee shop, tucked at somewhere at the center of the contemporary art community. Aurora is no stranger to moody twenty somethings that need a boost. Her almost supernatural sayings & grounded outlook on life, enables her to see the world beneath its surface.

Jazzi is a dynamic creative, mom, educator, and community builder who moves with purpose and heart in everything she does. By day, she leads community -centered programming at Do Greater Charlotte, but she is also the founder of MomTale. Jazzi shows up fully—as a connector, a nurturer, and a champion for authenticity.

KAMILLE GRAHAM

Andi is a News Reporter for 123QC on Channel 11. The star of her midday show titled “All Up In Your Business” Andi is at the center of all the breaking news in the city. With her latest story on the major budget cuts to arts funding fresh to the streets, you can count on Andi to deliver the hard hitting truth. 

Kamille is an experienced creative writer and performer. She began writing at the age of twelve and began acting at sixteen. She is no stranger to the stage and is proud of her accomplishments as a writer and performer, having published her debut poetry collection in January 2025.  Combining her passions and faith, Kamille is a versatile change agent for good in this world.
